The Blue Lotus is back

After a long wait, he is finally back: the Blue lotus - mysterious, mystical and of timeless beauty.

Maybe you already know him. Maybe you're meeting him for the first time today. Either way, let's immerse ourselves together in the world of this extraordinary plant - and in what it has symbolised for thousands of years.

Between myth and dawn: the story of the sacred flower

The journey of the symbolic plant begins in the vastness of ancient Egypt, where the blue lotus once stood enthroned on still waters. Its blossom - open at sunrise, closed at sunset - came to symbolise the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Pharaohs, priests and mystics saw it not just as a plant, but as a sacred symbol of renewal. It was sacrificed in temples, placed in tombs and immortalised on walls - as a companion to the afterlife and to oneself. The ancient Egyptians used it in ceremonies and believed that it strengthened the connection between the human and the divine. The blue lotus was also revered in many other cultures for its relaxing and meditative properties.

Where our Blue Lotus grows today

Our sun-dried flowers come from the naturally rich Puttalam region in the north-west of Sri Lanka - where a warm, humid climate, fertile soil and respectful manual harvesting come together. The flowers are carefully picked and gently dried - without any additives or treatment. In this way, the blue lotus retains its original beauty, colour and characteristic fragrance.

Plant symbolism & spiritual guidance

Even today, the blue lotus is still regarded as a plant archetype for transition, transformation and heart opening. Many people value it as an energetic support in phases of reorientation or reflection. Especially in combination with conscious rituals - for example in the morning or on the night of the full moon - its symbolic power can have a deep, intuitive effect.
